Keep subtitles in sync after video cuts

Paste an SRT and the original timeline ranges you kept. Preview and export a retimed SRT. Everything runs in your browser; subtitle files are never uploaded.

No files leave your device. Keep a backup and review captions at each cut.

What it does

Maps standard UTF-8 SRT cues onto chronological, non-overlapping kept ranges. Cues outside ranges are dropped; crossing cues are clipped and may appear in two pieces with the full original text. Review wording at cuts. It does not edit video, detect cuts, or fix existing overlaps. Timestamps must be zero-based and match the original SRT timeline.

Use the file picker or paste text; output is generated locally. Free for personal use. If this saves time on paid client work, a voluntary $5 commercial-use licence supports development; no feature is locked behind payment.
